Agilis Search
Agilis Search is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist on behalf of its client in Felixstowe. Joining the Recruitment team, you’ll act as an internal recruitment consultant, taking ownership of specialist and technical hiring across the organisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys finding hard-to-reach talent and turning market insight into practical hiring decisions. Your focus will be on building a proactive recruitment approach: mapping talent markets, developing relationships and creating pipelines before vacancies become urgent. Alongside sourcing, you’ll manage recruitment through to selection, keeping candidates informed and helping managers make fair, well-supported decisions. Your responsibilities will include: Direct sourcing and headhunting through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, targeted events and other relevant channels. Building talent pools and market maps to strengthen future shortlists and reduce reliance on external agencies. Working with hiring managers to define role profiles, selection criteria, tailored adverts and attraction strategies, using benchmarking data and market intelligence to advise on challenges. Managing multiple complex vacancies, including ATS administration, interviews, manager coaching, candidate queries and timely feedback. Designing and coordinating recruitment campaigns, assessment centres, technical assessments and internal selection processes. Supporting safe recruitment through right-to-work checks, qualification verification and compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards. For operational and technical roles, this includes assessing candidates’ commitment to safe working practices. Maintaining accurate HR and recruitment data, producing reports and analysis, and planning immediate and medium-term workloads. Reviewing processes, templates and recruitment technology, investigating errors and recommending improvements to efficiency, compliance and quality. You’ll also contribute to recruitment projects and wider HR initiatives, building effective relationships with departments, trade unions and third parties. What you’ll bring: You’ll need at least three years’ recruitment experience focused on specialist or technical roles, gained in an agency, RPO or in-house setting. Strong direct-sourcing and headhunting skills are essential, alongside experience managing competing vacancies and deadlines in a high-volume, complex setting. You’ll also bring: Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your approach and influence decisions. Strong planning, prioritisation and follow-through, maintaining accuracy as workloads change. Confidence working with numbers, data, detail and processes. Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. A professional, supportive approach, sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters. If you enjoy combining hands-on sourcing with consultative hiring advice—and want ownership of both recruitment delivery and how it improves—apply with your CV.
